Especially after Rare pretty much disbanded as the good people left to do other things, leaving it with whoever came up with the idea for... (shudder) Viva Pinata. Micro$oft is like, "Yeah! We got Rare as a first-party developer, bitchin'! Now, make us some money, bitches."

sure, the graphics are upgraded and the game is better gameplay-wise (as in how it works, not how you actually play the game; whatever), but... it just isn't the same thing

By the way, I gotta say that personally, the 360 wins.  I had the Wii, and I just couldn't get into it.  No matter how much I tried, I couldn't get over the last-gen graphics and the waggle controls.  Some of the games were good, but some games don't make a console. 

The 360 definitely has a slew of technical problems.  It's renowned for its RROD, which incidentally, I have yet to experience.  However, what attracts me to the 360 is the fact that everyone else I know also has one.  I've had an immense amount of fun playing with my friends, and even though I have to pay $50 a year for the Xbox Live Account, the time I've spent is well worth it.

I just received a PS3 in the mail today, after having sold my Wii in order to get it.  I can't really give a review of it yet, but I have to say, I'm impressed.
